This morning I saw these statistics regarding home sales in San Diego County categorized by equity, auction, short sales, and REO. It’s very simple to see the rehab projects that run through the pipeline and the importance that investors play within this fragile real estate market. Imagine what the graph would look like with investors doing value-add processes to the distressed REO sales?
